If you don’t love it, you won’t feel it. If you don’t feel it, neither will they.
This is a truth I have experienced too many times in the past 50 years as a professional musician. For me, the solution was to try to choose songs we all love.
But it raises the question: Are we selling out our artistic passion for temporary love? This is one of the most important questions we can ask ourselves. And there is no blanket answer. The answer is as unique as the artist and the music.
What I have learned is this: Whether it is a riff, or a song, or a lyric, or a crowd, or an instrument…
Make sure love is a part of it.
The Tahoe Collection
In the serene beauty of Lake Tahoe, the air was filled with melodies as forest animals gathered around the fire, while a playful raccoon plucked the strings with mischievous delight, and deer gracefully danced with ethereal elegance, hooves gliding across the forest floor like poetry in motion. Nature and music intertwined in perfect harmony, bringing joy to both the animals and the listeners lucky enough to witness this extraordinary performance As the music resonated through the towering trees, the woodland creatures joined in a symphony of sounds, creating a joyful atmosphere on the shores of magical Lake Tahoe.
